The National Testing Agency (NTA) invites application for UGC NET and CSIR UGC NET examinations.
The CSIR exam is conducted for determining the eligibility for the candidate to be appointed as a lecturer in the fields of Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences. The candidates can also be eligible for JRF after clearing the exam depending on the scores.
General/Unreserved- Rs. 1000/-
Gen-EWS/ OBC-NCL- Rs. 500/-
SC/ST/PwD/ Transgender – Rs. 250/-
JRF: Not more than 30 years as on 01.12.2019.
There is no upper age limit in applying for UGC-NET for Assistant Professor.
The Test will comprise of two papers.
The Test will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only.
Paper-1:- 100 marks,50 Questions
Paper-2:- 200 marks,100 Questions
Duration- 3 Hours
