IIT Bombay releases online application form for CEED, UCEED 2020, apply now

The Indian Institute Technology (IIT), Bombay invites online applications for the Undergraduate Common Entrance for Design (UCEED) for admission to Bachelor’s of Design (B.Des) and Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) for admission to Masters in Design (M.Des).

UCEED 2020 score is valid only for admission to the academic year 2020-2021.

Institute offers B.Des and M.Des :-

IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jodhpur

Application fee:- Rs 3000.

For reserved category candidates and females, candidates-  Rs 1500.

For foreign nationals from SAARC countries- $200  

For non-SAARC countries – $325

An additional fee of Rs 500 will be added to regular payment if candidates apply between November 10-November 16

Education qualification:-

Students who have passed Class XII (or equivalent) in 2019 or appearing in 2020 in any stream are eligible to apply for UCEED

Students with a degree or diploma of minimum three years can apply for CEED

Age limit:-

The candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1995if belonging to the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category and on or after October 1, 1990 if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category.

Number of attempts:- Two times

Exam pattern:-

UCEED is a test centre based examination and has two parts: Part A is computer based and Part B contains question related to sketching.

The total time for the examination (that includes both Part A and Part B) is 3 hours duration.
